New Travel Training Programme from Belize Tourism Board

Belize Tourism Board launches new online travel training programme

The Belize Tourism Board (BTB), has announced the launch of its brand new Online Travel Training Programme (OTT), which aims to enhance the knowledge of UK travel agents on the myriad attractions and potential of Belize as a leading tropical vacation destination in Central America.

Karen Bevans, Director of Tourism at the BTB said: “The new OTT training modules will ensure that agents are knowledgeable and equipped with all the relevant information that travellers would like to know about the destination. The UK is a valued market for visitors to Belize and we miss having them at this time. It is therefore important that we continue in supporting our UK agents and partners during this unprecedented time, to ensure that we are all prepared for when the world is ready to travel again.”

The training will be divided into ten modules and will focus on the main tourism regions of Belize, including cruising and weddings. In addition to providing insider tips, each module will end with five questions to test the participant’s knowledge.
