MyBookingRewards Launches Trade Info Site

MyTravelTradeInfo.com goes live with hotel openings, webinars, events fam trips and more

Travel trade rewards site, MyBookingRewards.com has launched a new sister resource site to share information on hotel openings, training events, webinars and competitions.

“After a really busy Spring and Summer of hosting multiple webinars, and fantastic engagement – listening to our agent members, the most frequently asked question was when are hotels re-opening?’,” said Darren Pearson, CEO of My Booking Rewards.

“Agents have been telling us that there is nowhere centralised to get that information, and since we have so many destination and hotel reward programmes with thousands of registered agents all over the world, we realised that we could support the trade and provide a platform for hotels to post their opening dates. Our in-house IT team worked tirelessly to develop to the needs of our audience and we’re now inviting any supplier, destination or hotel from anywhere in the world, to make use of this free-to-use calendar to tell agents when they are re-opening. They can also invite agents to their training events or webinars or promote a fam trip or competition.”

The site, mytraveltradeinfo.com, already populated with a wide range of openings and virtual events, is free for any agent or supplier to access, is open to suppliers from all over the world, and is visible to agents globally too. Posting an event or hotel opening is quick and easy. Where an event or competition is source-market-specific the system allows you to choose which markets you want the post to be seen in.

“You don’t have to have a rewards programme with us to use the system,” said Pearson, “But clearly a booking incentive and connected training program would be the ideal way to engage and retain an agent’s interest and loyalty.” With our most successful MyCaribbeanRewards achieving an 81% engagement rate of members to bookers this summer!

The addition of this information resource comes as a direct response to the current situation and agent feedback and is one of several enhancements made to the MyBookingRewards.com site during the summer months. Regular users will have noticed a new logo, look and feel to the rewards program interface, and will now be able to turn to MyTravelTradeInfo.com as a valuable information resource.

Additionally any supplier can participate in the regular webinars which continue to see high engagement levels of between 80 and 150 agents.

Agents receiving rewards via MyBookingRewards.com receive a MyBookingRewards Mastercard or Visa onto which all monetary rewards can be loaded. Rewards in the UK are registered with HMRC and Tax deducted, providing agents peace of mind in the knowledge that their declarations have been taken care of, and simplifying the outdated process of offering paper or online shopping vouchers.
