Last week Travel News hit the road with 12 top travel suppliers on a 3-day roadshow across Northern Ireland and WHAT A SUCCESS!
Stopping off in 3 locations; Belfast, Portadown and Derry/L’Derry, the agents that live and work in the surrounding areas came out in force to support, learn and socialise.
Over the 3 days, agents got to see a fantastic top class quality list of suppliers; Spring Hotels, Constantinou Bros Hotels, NCL, Silversea, PortAventura World, Tenerife Tourism Corporation, JTA Holidays and Cruise, Riviera Travel, Ikos and Sani Resorts, City of Derry Airport, Stena Line, Visit Barbados and headline sponsor Vibe by Jet2holidays, who all had lots of new and up to date information to share.
Over 100+ agents attended for networking, maintaining and building new relationships and to enjoy the company of their travel industry colleagues, along with getting the chance to win AMAZING prizes!
Kat Davies of Jet2holidays (headline sponsor) said “The events were great and what Travel News managed to pull off with all the restrictions was fantastic. The team do an amazing job and support us all so much. I can’t wait to be back for the awards!”.
The suppliers got to have some fun themselves with a beautiful lunch and beer/gin tasting curtesy of Tourism Ireland in the Walled City Brewery, a visit to meet the Mayor of Derry & Strabane in the Guild Hall, followed by a tour of Derry’s Walls with Visit Derry and City Of Derry Airport.
Due to the success of the 2021 On Tour Roadshow, get ready for two in 2022! Dates will be released soon, keep an eye out!
