Jet2holidays revealed exciting plans to boost its award-winning partnership approach to working with independent travel agents at the company’s annual VIP conference, which took place in Leeds last week.
The new plans included a new campaign enabling agents to unleash their unique and trusted position to turn queries into sales.
The UK’s leading tour operator to destinations in the Mediterranean and Canary Islands hosted over 100 independent travel agents at a special one-day ‘It’s Coming Home’ conference in the company’s home city of Leeds.
Alan Cross, Head of Trade Sales at Jet2holidays said: “Stores are open and demand is growing all the time, so we will be working alongside independent travel agency partners to give them everything they need to not only customer questions but to turn that dialogue into sales too. We know how much customers value the expertise and knowledge that independent travel agents provide and we believe there is enormous potential in unleashing the power of that trust. By taking part in ‘Travel Made Simple with Jet2holidays’, independent travel agents will be seen by customers not only as trusted friends to help them navigate travel issues such as restrictions and testing, but as the people who can very easily turn their holiday dreams into reality.”
He adds: “By launching this campaign now, we are supporting independent travel agents so that they are ready for the demand out there. Not only will it equip independent travel agents to inspire confidence amongst customers wanting to book a package holiday but it will enable them to get onto the front foot when it comes to promoting holidays too. As always, we are looking at the trends on the high street and responding to them so that we can strengthen our partnership approach to working with independent travel agents.”
