Jet2holidays Boosts Partnership Approach with Independent Travel Agents

Dedicated support includes exclusive offer for independent travel agents - £110 off per person for all holidays booked through an independent travel agent

Jet2holidays is continuing to demonstrate its commitment to independent travel agents by running a number of high-profile campaigns to help agents engage with customers and drive sales.

As part of the company’s successful Partnership 2 Success strategy, the UK’s second largest tour operators is running an exclusive promotion for independent travel agents. This means that customers booking via an independent travel agent can enjoy the holiday they deserve with a fantastic £110 off per person on all package holidays. (Bookings can be made until 1st March 2021, with travel taken between 6th January and 6th November 2022).

With millions of seats on sale to destinations across Europe, the Canary Islands and the Mediterranean from ten UK bases, customers have plenty of choice when it comes to picking the most popular hotspots, and this promotion gives independent travel agents the opportunity to give them even more to look forward to in 2021.

The promotion applies to all Jet2holidays, Jet2CityBreaks, Jet2Villas, Indulgent Escapes and Vibe by Jet2holidays bookings, meaning holidaymakers can get away for much less and give themselves a well-deserved break. What’s more, with more than a million free child places holidays available, holidaymakers can enjoy fantastic value when they book via an independent travel agent.

Jet2holidays’ award-winning Partnership 2 Success strategy has seen the company run a number of successful campaigns in partnership with agents over the years, and this year is no different thanks to the launch of ‘Jet2holidays Celebrity Come Book With Me.’

This campaign is designed to help independent travel agents boost their social media presence with a sprinkle of celebrity stardust. Jet2holidays has teamed up with four celebrities who are posting video messages on the Jet2holidays Instagram and Facebook pages, talking about the many award-winning benefits of booking with the package holiday specialist. All agents need to do is like the post and comment with their ABTA number to be in with a chance of winning a personalised video message recorded by the celebrity, which they can then post on their own social media profile to engage with customers. On top of that, the winning agency also gets to take part in a virtual meet and greet with the celebrity.

This dedicated campaign will run until April, and the first lucky winner was HD Travel in Northwich who won a recorded message by none other than Chico! This week’s campaign is already live, with Brian McFadden appearing as this week’s celebrity.

In addition to these campaigns, independent travel agents can also continue to benefit from the company’s continued partnership approach, with a raft of virtual support initiatives helping them to drive awareness with customers and drive sales. These include:

  • Virtual Agency Visits and Key Account Meetings – sessions with Jet2holidays’ award-winning trade team to stay abreast of the latest data, developments and trends

Putting independent travel agents right in the minds of customers – continued call to action to ‘Visit your local independent travel agent’ in Jet2holidays national advertising campaigns, as well as ‘Travel Agent Finder’ on the company’s direct website which helps customers locate and contact their nearest independent travel agent high street retail store.
