Hoshino Resorts has celebrated the opening of its latest OMO hotel – OMO5 Tokyo Gotanda. Located in the lively Shinagawa Ward, across the top floors of the Gotanda JP Building, the hotel offers far-reaching views over Shinagawa and Meguro. Each of the hotel’s 188 rooms is inspired by the bustling streets of Gotanda and its abundance of gourmet restaurants and lively bars, with neon signage, exposed brick walls and retro soft furnishings. Room types include an OMO House for up to six guests, with its own kitchen facilities.
A notable feature of OMO5 Tokyo Gotanda is the OMO Base communal lounge on the 14th floor – a dynamic space which offers a café, shop and the Sky Garden, a large park-like terrace where guests can relax and dip their feet into its refreshing shallow pond during the summer. OMO’s signature Go Kinjo service offers a neighbourhood map with recommendations of local hot spots to visit, as well as a selection of guided tours by knowledgeable OMO Rangers to help guests explore the local area.
Stay overnight at OMO5 Tokyo Gotanda by Hoshino Resorts from 28,000 JPY (approx. £152) per room per night (room only, including tax).
