The Hong Kong Tourism Board (HKTB) is delighted to announce the appointment of Anette Wendel-Menke as Director, UK and Northern Europe, based out of the tourism board’s London office.
From 1st July 2023, Anette will oversee the HKTB’s strategic direction for the UK and Northern Europe across marketing, PR, trade relations and MICE.
Speaking of her appointment, Anette said, “I am looking forward to working with the UK and Northern Europe travel industries. With the support of my new team, I am confident that we will continue to build off the excellent work of my predecessor to promote Hong Kong as a leading city break destination.”
Kenneth Wong, General Manager, MICE & Regional Director, Europe added “I am delighted to announce Anette’s appointment as Director, UK & Northern Europe. With her extensive experience, and firsthand knowledge of Hong Kong, she will work with the team in London to develop comprehensive strategies to continue to build on the success of our Hello Hong Kong Campaigns.”
Anette has worked for the HKTB since 1999, working her way up to Director, Central Europe based in Frankfurt. The HKTB is currently recruiting for the replacement of Director, Central Europe based in Frankfurt.
