Destination marketing company, 7M Travel Holdings have launched a website dedicated to help job seekers in the travel industry find employment. The web site: www.tourismojobs.com is designed to pair up job seekers with talent hunters and also has a sections for new start-up companies that focuses on helping new entrepreneurs to connect with investors and assist in marketing, sales, and finance.
Founder Akarsh Kolaprath said: “Millions of people in the travel industry have been laid off or furloughed over the past few months with no options to move on to another position or to be able to provide for their families.
“As we go through this unprecedented time, we want to start the building blocks to rebuild the tourism industry.
“Employers are encouraged to register in preparation for any positions that have available now or in the future.”
The service is free and currently has around 400 hundred travel industry professionals registered seeking employment, 40 employers and 24 start-up businesses.
