Funway Holidays Will Cease Trading in September

Funway Holidays have announced that they will cease trading in September due to the impact of the coronavirus pandemic

Funway Holidays have announced that they will cease trading in September due to the impact of the coronavirus pandemic and the associated global travel restrictions.

The business, which employs just under 50 people, will close on September 30.

No new bookings or re-bookings will be accepted from today (July 7) and all bookings departing on or after September 1, 2020 have now been cancelled.

Funway said it would contact all travel agents who currently have live bookings with the operator and that all deposits or payments received on these would be refunded in full. All Refund Credit Notes will be paid in cash.

A statement from the company said: “We would like to say a huge thank you to all of our wonderful agent partners.

“While the Funway journey is coming to a close, we hope all of our partners emerge from this crisis and enjoy a most prosperous future.”
