Travelport has announced a new partnership with NightsBridge, Africa's leading online distribution system for independent accommodation

Under its inaugural deal with a GDS operator, NightsBridge will add more than 3,000 independent properties to the over 650,000 hotel properties already available through Travelport’s award-winning Travel Commerce Platform.

Travelport is able to help NightsBridge develop its business globally by promoting its unique property inventory to over 68,000 Travelport-connected online and offline travel agencies and travel management companies worldwide. Travelport-connected agencies will now be able to take advantage of Travelport’s unique merchandising technology and industry-leading point of sale tool, Travelport Smartpoint to search, view and book properties from NightsBridge’s catalogue. These include of B&Bs, apartments, boutique hotels and game lodges featuring the “Big Five” African animals.
