Fred. Olsen Travel has announced an all-time record start to the year. The Company which encompasses 17 retail branches of Fred. Olsen Travel Agents, Star Clippers, Go Cruise & Travel, Fred. Holidays and the company’s Business Travel department saw every department exceed their income budget for the week to 8th January and consequently produce record income levels for a single week. This news is particularly exciting as the company’s turn of year marketing didn’t hit until 14th January so hopes are high for another record week this week.

“I am extremely encouraged by this start to 2023 and incredibly proud of our team for all their hard work. It is obviously a strong market at the moment which is wonderful for the travel industry. Our record week is especially pleasing as throughout the pandemic we took the decision to continue investing in the business, both in terms of the number of retail outlets which have increased by six since 2019, new products such as Rail and Discover within Fred. Holidays and the team itself, with the recruitment of some key staff across our business. It’s especially gratifying to see this investment paying off.”
