EasyJet holidays have became the first major UK tour operator to join The Future of Tourism coalition.
The tour operator, which recently became the UK’s first operator to offset carbon emissions, joins the coalition which includes 13 principles which help to improve and better the wellbeing of destinations and their communities.
Speaking on the new membership, EasyJet holidays CEO Garry Wilson said;
“As a young business we set out to put sustainability at the heart of what we do and, given the challenging circumstances over the last year and a half we think it’s even more important that we all do everything we can to support a positive future for tourism.”
