Hays Travel homeworking division rewarded its top fifteen cruise selling personal travel consultants with an all-inclusive trip from London Heathrow to New York and the Bahamas, via Florida and Coco Cay, flying with Virgin Atlantic and sailing on Royal Caribbean’s Oasis of the Seas.
From 7 to 16 October, the travel consultants saw the tables turn as they sampled the type of luxury and exceptional customer service more usually enjoyed by their own customers.
Head of Hays Travel Homeworking division, Tanya Cooper, who led the inaugural ‘Captain’s Table’ trip, said: “We designed this trip to thank our top 15 cruise selling personal travel consultants and Explorer agents and to congratulate them on a successful year. These are the founding members of our ‘Captain’s Table’, who represent our agents who are consistently achieving top results by selling amazing cruises to their extensive network of clients.”
After arriving in New York via a Virgin Atlantic flight from London Heathrow the group spent a night taking in the sights, before embarking on the Oasis of the Seas in Manhattan Harbour for a sunset sailing.
“It was just as perfect as I imagined”, said Tanya, “we gathered on deck, glass in hand, and left the sights of Manhattan behind – the ultimate sundowner moment. Our next stop was Florida to visit Cape Canaveral on the Atlantic Coast, before spending a ‘perfect day’ on Coco Cay – Royal Caribbean International’s private island. On day five we toured Sandals’ exotic Royal Bahamian all-inclusive resort, before rejoining the Oasis of the Seas for the return sailing to New York where we took in a tour of the newly opened Virgin Hotel before our return Virgin Atlantic flight.”
Catherine Nathwani, Personal Travel Consultant, said: “I feel so valued as a PTC in Hays Travel and am so grateful to have had this experience with my friends and colleagues; I’ve come away with so much more knowledge on Virgin Atlantic, Royal Caribbean International, and Virgin Hotels.”
Samantha Hale, Hays Travel Personal Travel Consultant, said: “I felt so privileged to join such an amazing trip. The Oasis of the Seas is beautiful and the whole experience was out of this world – from Coco Cay to seeing the luxury Sandals hotel in the Bahamas, then having a tour round of the new Virgin hotel when we arrived back at New York. I felt like a VIP the whole time and I am still actively seeking cruise bookings so I can still be on Captain’s Table again next year.”
Tanya added: “Our valued partners of Virgin Atlantic, Royal Caribbean Cruise International, Sandals, Virgin Hotels, HTOL, and Hays Beds and Transfers, supported us brilliantly and I appreciate all they did for us.”
