Travel review site TripAdvisor is set to lay off 900 staff – a quarter of its workforce – due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
In a blog post, CEO and co-founder Stephen Kaufer said that of the 900 staff being made redundant, 600 are in the US and Canada.
In the blog post, Kaufer said: “As CEO, you plan for the best and worst case outcomes that could affect our business. Unfortunately, there is no playbook for this moment that we’re in together right now.”
