Seaworld CEO Sergio Rivera is the third CEO to leave in just over two years


Sergio Rivera is the third CEO to step down in just over two years, citing boardroom disagreements. He was appointed in November 2020.

In a statement, Chairman Scott Ross said: “The board remains united in guiding the company through the tough but necessary decisions to best position the business for long-term success.”

CFO Marc Swanson has taken charge as interim Chief Executive and will remain so until the company starts bringing in revenue again.
