The government has announced that it is extending the furlough scheme until end of October, 2020.
Chancellor Rishi Sunak made the announcement today (May 12, 2020) extending the furlough scheme to end of October, 2020 meaning employees will continue to receive 80% of their wages, or up to £2,500 per month.
