CMV Re-Join CLIA

Cruise & Maritime Voyages (CMV) have announced that they have re-joined CLIA as regional members of Europe and Australasia

Cruise & Maritime Voyages (CMV) have announced that they have re-joined CLIA as regional members of Europe and Australasia.

The renewed membership commences in January 2020 after an absence of three years. In 2015, CMV hosted the CLIA Annual Winter Ball Dinner aboard Magellan in Tilbury.

Chris Coates, Group Commercial Director commented, “With an expanding ocean fleet and international market presence, we believe the time is right to re-establish links with CLIA and the close working relationship previously enjoyed. The expansion of the global industry fleet and carryings bring increased challenges which we consider are best served with all stakeholders working together”.

Andy Harmer, CLIA UK & Ireland Director added, “We are delighted to welcome back Cruise and Maritime Voyages as a CLIA cruise line member. As the line grows its fleet and presence across the UK and the world, CLIA looks forward to supporting CMV through our training tools, online resources and travel agent events.”

CMV currently has a fleet of six ocean vessels with two more ships being introduced in 2021 increasing global carryings to 200,000 passengers.

CMV’s network of international sales offices has recently increased with the opening, earlier this month, of an office in Marseille to support the re-deployment of Astor in 2021 to the French market.
