Cruise Lines International Association (CLIA) is helping prepare travel agents for the return of international cruising from UK waters with a new series of Summer Schools.

The Summer School sessions will comprise product updates and training briefs, delivered via cruise lines, and destinations, and will include the latest international travel news.

The one-hour morning sessions take place weekly from 12 August, starting with MSC Cruises and Celebrity Cruises while Oceania Cruises, Regent Seven Seas Cruises, APT and Port of Seattle will be in session on 19 August. Amadeus River Cruises, Fred Olsen and Carnival Cruise Line will host sessions on 26 August.

“The international travel announcement is fantastic news for everyone within the cruise community, and it is a thrilling prospect to once again be able to offer guests the opportunity to sail the world,” said Ben Bouldin, CLIA chair for UK & Ireland.
