Italy specialist Classic Collection Holidays is inviting travel agents to join live from Rome for its latest online product training on December 3.

The event will be hosted from the Italian capital by Classic’s Italy Product and Purchasing Executive, Elisa Pollina, who lives and works in Rome.

Si Morris-Green, Agency Sales and Marketing Director said: “Our Indian Ocean training event was a fantastic success with more than 250 agents in attendance and some very supportive feedback. Although we couldn’t broadcast from the Maldives, three lucky agents won Indian Ocean holidays. This time, as befits an Italy specialist, we’re heading to Rome. Agents joining us will benefit from enhanced incentives on any Italy bookings made, social media assets and downloadable window posters, just in time for those retail outlets which can re-open. We’ll also have an Italy holiday prize and Fortnum & Mason hampers to give away.”

Classic’s Italy training comes as the operator announces a host of new product as part of its biggest ever Italy programme. New for 2021 is Matera, one of the locations for the 25th Bond film, A Time to Die, with scenes shot in the city’s historic centre as well as its UNESCO-listed cave dwellings. The remote and picturesque island of Elba has been introduced, alongside 20 new boutique hotels in a variety of Italy’s heritage-rich cities, and no fewer than 84 pre-bookable private tours and experiences which can be personalised to suit individual requirements and interests.

Online training is at 10am on Thursday December 3, hosted by Elisa Pollina, in Rome, and Gemma Lazenby, Classic’s National Account Manager live from Northamptonshire.
