The Celebrity Cruises UK&I team went out on the road in Northern Ireland, with the aim to visit and train as many agents as possible. The cruise line’s expert trainer, Leon Hand ran two evening training sessions in Belfast:
- Tues 6th Feb – Terra Travel
- Weds 7th Feb – Clubworld Travel
Around 20 agents attended each event for around 2 hours, with pizza and drinks provided whilst Leon hosted a dedicated ‘fun’ training workshop with quizzes, prizes, Q&A as well as Goody Bags. The sessions gave agents a dedicated insight into Leon’s comprehensive training programme, focusing on ‘Why Celebrity’ as well as training on Europe & Caribbean 2024, Celebrity’s Wave campaign, Celebrity Central & Airwaves platforms for agents.
Leon and the wider UK&I sales team, including Pauline Thomson, Valerie Murphy and Charlotte Hallam were also out and about visiting travel partners in the Belfast area during the day on 7th& 8th Feb visiting a total of 12 stores across the city. The visit to each agency consisted of going through the current campaign, ensuring agents understand and use Celebrity Central, and giving out the Selling Guide and brochures if needed, and some branded item giveaways.

‘I had three fantastic days in Northern Ireland visiting our amazing travel partners in many different areas across Belfast. Our aim was to reach as many agents as possible, and this was well and truly achieved! We met a total of 10 agencies during the day, and hosted two additional dedicated training events at night (Terra Travel in Lurgan on 6th February and Clubworld Travel in Portadown on 7th February). The energy and enthusiasm of agents never fails to blow me away, and I always get a genuine warm welcome whenever I visit Northern Ireland. I LOVE this part of country, and all of our loyal travel partners who are based here.’
