Like many couples this year, Celebrity Cruises’ crew members Venita and Rajiv had to cancel their wedding ceremony back home in Mauritius due to travel restrictions. To turn a disappointing situation into a joyous one, Captain Kate McCue instead officiated their marriage on board Celebrity Edge, using the luscious green vines of the Eden speciality dining restaurant as the backdrop for their bespoke ceremony.
Venita’s father, an onboard chef, was there to walk his daughter down the aisle and the couple were joined virtually by family and friends from around the world to wish them well on their special day.
