Celebrity Cruises introduced some exciting Pride initiatives and training to support trade partners; from a celebratory video featuring beloved influencers to enhanced LGBT+ toolkits on Celebrity Central

Celebrity Cruises is celebrating Pride with a range of fantastic new tools and initiatives for the trade partner community.

A spokesperson for Celebrity Cruises said: “At Celebrity we pride ourselves on celebrating diversity and inclusion every day, to open up the world for our guests.

“This week should have seen our 4th annual Pride at Sea party, led by brand new ship Celebrity Apex. Whilst we would have loved to have been together on the water, nothing is going to stop us from celebrating one of our most important days of the year. Now more than ever, we want to come together at what is such a unifying moment, to stand together with the LGBTQ+ community and share some of our best moments over the last few years.

“On our dedicated agent hub, Celebrity Central, we have released an enhanced collection of LGBTQ+ brand and marketing resources to ensure agents feel confident and updated on all our latest support, selling tools and initiatives.”

Celebrity has enhanced its LGBTQ+ Toolkit, refreshing it with new inclusive flyers, images and video assets, along with LGBTQ+ friendly itinerary recommendations for 2021 in a social-ready format.

The spokesperson continued: “These exciting new resources highlight the diversity of our valued guests and crew. A dedicated diversity and inclusion training course is also available on Celebrity Passport, which is a great refresher on how diversity is truly woven into our DNA and celebrated through all aspects of our business.

“Just last week, we also elevated our training offering via Royal Caribbean Group’s new online agent hub, ‘RCL Cares‘, launching the first phase of its revolutionary new suite of training modules – ‘Selling Beyond Covid19’.

“This month also sees us marking some more happy news and a number of firsts, as we celebrate Celebrity Flora’s first birthday on 30th June! Recently recognised on Conde Nast Traveler’s 2020 Hot List as one of the ‘Best New Cruise Ships & Itineraries in the World’, Celebrity Flora is the first ever ship of its kind to be built specifically with the destination in mind – the stunning Galapagos Islands – and we can’t wait until she returns to those beautiful waters.
