Travel agents from Canada and the US have been visiting Northern Ireland as guests of Tourism Ireland and Tourism NI. The top performing travel agents were competing in the annual
Air Canada-United Airlines Race in Dublin before taking part in a workshop and familiarisation visits across the island of Ireland.
The visit provided an opportunity for them to experience first-hand what Northern Ireland has to offer, including great food and drink experiences, spectacular landscapes, rich heritage and superb visitor attractions. The itinerary included McConnell’s Distillery and Visitor Experience, the Giant’s Causeway, Broughgammon Farm, and NearyNógs Stoneground Chocolate.
