Budget Group Launches Incentive for Travel Agents

Avis Budget Group in the UK has launched an agent incentive to celebrate the many loyalty partnerships they have with travel companies and to raise awareness of travel agent capability to add customers' points against their chosen scheme, when booking Avis and Budget car rental

Current partnerships include airlines, hotel brands and even rail operators with loyalty schemes.

The incentive, which runs until the end of November, will see every agent booking for an Avis or Budget car rental, for rentals up to December 31, 2018, entered into a prize draw. The winners will be announced early in the New Year.

The top prize is 15,000 Norwegian Reward CashPoints, which can be redeemed against Norwegian Airlines’ flights – it’s enough to get return flights for two people to a range of destinations, including New York, Miami, San Francesco and more!  Avis recently announced a new partnership with Norwegian Reward.

In addition, the popular all-inclusive car rental product Avis 360°, with all insurances included and zero excess, is now available and commissionable for travel agents and in a nod to the introduction of this product there will also be ten prizes of £360 in vouchers, for the retail outlet of choice.

Avis Budget Group’s Head of Travel – International, Lynette Dungey said: “Avis and Budget have partnerships with major airline and hotel chains globally and through these partnerships customers can build their miles or points every time they rent.

“This pre-Christmas agent incentive is designed to raise awareness that agents can add loyalty programme points when their customers rent Avis and Budget cars and it’s also to celebrate the introduction of Avis 360. Each booking qualifies for an entry in the prize draw, so the more bookings the more chance of winning! The winners will be announced in the New Year, a nice surprise to help beat the January blues!”
