Belfast City Treat Agents to Spa Day at Galgorm

George Best Belfast City Airport reinforced its relationship with its airline partners and the Northern Ireland Travel trade recently by treating members of the industry to a luxurious spa day

The event, which included a pampering session at the 4-start Galgorm Resort and Spa followed by lunch, provided the airport with the opportunity to provide trade and airline representatives with all the up to date information regarding its routes, airlines, products and services, while thanking them for their support over the last number of years.

Over 20 senior travel agents and airline representatives from across Northern Ireland were in attendance, including Aer Lingus, British Airways, Eastern Airways, Flybe, Thompson Travel, and American Holidays.

Diane Risk, Travel Trade Consultant at Belfast City Airport, said: “Developing and maintaining strong relationships with our airline partners and local Travel Trade is hugely important for Belfast City Airport and we wanted to show our thanks to the airlines and agents we work in close partnership with.

“Events such as this not only give us the opportunity to strengthen these relationships, but also allow us to brief our partners on new airlines, plans for growing our route network, our car parking products and other commercial offerings.

“2017 has been a hugely successful year for Belfast City Airport, with highlights including the co-hosting of the highly successful Routes Europe conference in Belfast, the launch of two new routes from Eastern Airways and our Icelandair route to Reykjavik.”
