Barrhead Travel Launches Cruise Academy

Throughout this academy, virtual learning sessions will coincide with face to face training with three full-time trainers assigned

Barrhead Travel have launched a Cruise Academy for colleagues.

The Cruise Academy is a virtual learning and development programme, where participants will complete tailored modules which will include sessions from cruise partners.

Throughout this academy, virtual learning sessions will coincide with face to face training with three full-time trainers assigned to the project.

The new academy is set to become part of Barrhead Travel’s core training academy.

The first ten recruits of the Cruise Academy completed the programme in June.

Over the course of the pandemic, training and development became a pivotal focus for Barrhead travel. With added focus to Barrhead Travel’s training teach. The pandemic saw Barrhead Travel delivering 9,300 hours of training sessions throughout 2021.

Discussing the introduction of the Cruise Academy, Jacqueline Dobson, President of Barrhead Travel stated “The scope of opportunity to connect more customers with experienced advisors is significant because cruise is such a vast product with so many options to choose from.”

Adding that,“Training is so important and we’re really excited to launch the academy to strengthen our position in the market.”
