Azamara has announced the appointment of Adam Morris as Business Development Manager, UK. Adam’s appointment is the latest in a series of new hires and team enhancements in the UK, further demonstrating Azamara’s growth ambitions for the market and globally.
Focused on driving trade growth, Morris will invest more time with existing agent partners, encouraging deeper involvement with Azamara, and reach more of the smaller independent agencies and consortia members across the UK and Ireland. This reinforced UK sales team, led by Head of Trade Sales UK, Stuart Pearce, is offering increased support for agents nationally, to help drive sales and grow Azamara’s presence in the UK market.
Morris joins Azamara from Royal Caribbean, where he developed a valuable network of travel partner contacts, in his roles as Regional Sales Manager and Key Account Manager. During this time, Morris’ impressive relationship with the trade helped maximise results and deliver future growth at the company.
Prior to Royal Caribbean, Morris worked for the travel agent, Thomas Cook. In his seven years at the business, Morris progressed from Sales Consultant to Cluster Manager, responsible for managing sales and profitability across retail branches.
