APT & Travelmarvel has announced key updates to its sales team structure. The unveiling of two senior-level promotions comes at a pivotal time, as the company experiences significant growth within the trade, driven by successful sales and the expansion of new product offerings, including Small Group Journeys and Small Ship Cruises.
Robin Griffiths is Promoted to National Partnerships Manager
APT & Travelmarvel is delighted to promote Robin Griffiths to the role of National Partnerships Manager, following his exceptional success in his previous role as National Account Manager. Robin’s tenure has been marked by incredible success, particularly in managing and growing key trade partnerships. As he steps into his new role on 2 September 2024, Robin will focus on taking these partnerships to the next level, enhancing them with additional marketing investments, product training, exclusive fam trips, and new commercial opportunities. Robin will also play a crucial role in expanding the company’s distribution through new opportunities and strategic partnerships, further solidifying APT & Travelmarvel’s position in the market.
Becky Baumbach is Elevated to National Sales Manager
Becky Baumbach has been promoted to National Sales Manager, a role that reflects her significant contributions to the company over the past five years. Becky’s leadership has been instrumental in driving retail sales, which are up 65% year-on-year, and in managing Homeworker sales, which have seen a 67% year-to-date increase compared to last year. In her new role, effective 2 September 2024, Becky will support and develop APT & Travelmarvel’s three regional Business Development Managers (BDMs) as they continue to grow retail sales within their respective regions. Additionally, Becky will oversee consortia account and relationship management, setting and achieving quarterly sales targets that align with the company’s key objectives of growth and retail support.
These strategic promotions come as APT & Travelmarvel expands its offerings with a new portfolio of Small Group Journeys for up to 16 guests, adds new Small Ship Cruises in Europe aboard the MS Caledonian Sky, and welcomes exciting luxury vessels to its fleet. The company remains committed to delivering exceptional service and experiences as it continues to build on its successful track record within the trade.
Commenting on the team changes, Brad Bennetts, Head of Sales & Business Development at APT & Travelmarvel, said: “Robin and Becky’s promotions are a testament to their hard work, dedication, and the remarkable results they’ve achieved. As we continue to expand our product offerings and strengthen our trade partnerships, their expertise will be invaluable in driving our brand forward. These changes reflect our commitment to supporting our trade partners and ensuring that APT & Travelmarvel remain at the forefront of the industry, as well as the emphasis we place on recognising our team members’ success and creating opportunities for internal progression within the company.”
