American Holidays welcome Captain Jon A. McBride, a former NASA astronaut and retired American naval officer, to Belfast.
A handful of lucky travel agents and media representatives joined the American Holidays sales and marketing team for a private lunch with Jon McBride, at Titanic Hotel, Belfast.
On 5th October 1984, McBride launched with STS 41-G Challenger for an eight-day mission, on which he was a member of the first crew of seven. Today, astronaut Jon McBride works with the Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex in Orlando as a member of the Astronaut Encounter team.
