A&K and Cox and Kings Stands By Trade Partners

A&K and Cox & Kings Host Key Agent Partner Forum

A&K and Cox & Kings Host Key Agent Partner Forum Luxury travel company A&K and its sister company Cox & Kings have reaffirmed their commitment to the trade by hosting the first of its ‘Key Agent Partner Forum’. Since the start of the pandemic, both brands have kept in close contact with agents to offer sales, marketing and operational support.

Managing Director, Kerry Golds and Director of Sales James Coughlan and Agency Sales Manager Mark Harris hosted the forum– which aimed to share key market insights and ideas on future travel trends; additionally, honest feedback was discussed on how A&K and Cox & Kings supported the agents’ clients in the last 6 months. Another outcome was agreeing the most effective ways both companies support its trade partners through this difficult time and devise a joint plan on how to reassure and inspire clients for future bookings.

As a result of the agent feedback, A&K will be putting together an updated marketing support toolkit that agents will be able to download themselves. Plus an additional trade forum is planned in the coming weeks.

Some of the feedback received focused on how both luxury companies supported their clients during the repatriation efforts

“10 out of 10, they responded really quickly. You sorted our clients out immediately. They will definitely re-book with Cox & Kings when they are ready to start travelling again.” Polly Davies (Marco Polo Bristol)

“The contact we had with your staff was exceptional, I can’t say how good the service was. You held our hand all the way. It has given us great confidence especially during this time. I know I can rely on A&K.” Gary Pridmore (Aquilium)

“A&K have been a lot more pro-active than other tour operators. A&K are definitely winners on that front.” Richard Frampton (Hurlingham Travel)

Kerry Golds commented: “Collaboration is king right now, and we want to reassure our trade partners that we’re here for them. During the pandemic we were able to repatriate clients faster than most; due to our extensive local connections on the ground.”
