Air Charter Service Launches Guide on Global Travel Restrictions

Air Charter Service launches interactive guide to provide updates on latest global travel restrictions

The world’s largest aircraft charter broker, Air Charter Service has launched an interactive guide to provide the latest global travel restrictions and tourism updates relating to COVID-19, in line with the constantly evolving situation.

Travel agents and tour operators are encouraged to sign up to receive email alerts as destinations’ travel restrictions are updated according to the progression of the pandemic in each country and can use it as a useful reference tool when planning a trip for their clients. For destinations with restricted airline schedules, Air Charter Service can arrange private charters as an alternative option if required.

In addition to including information on official guidelines that are currently in place, the tool includes additional information on news regarding future announcements about the easing of restrictions both domestically and internationally across all destinations before they are officially in place. It also has a section on whether or not hotels and restaurants are open to ensure that those working in the travel trade can provide their clients with the latest updates on which destinations are open to tourists.

Justin Bowman, CEO of Air Charter Service commented: “As a global aircraft charter broker, it is imperative for us to have our finger on the pulse regarding the latest travel updates from destinations. As lockdowns and travel restrictions are lifted and potentially re-imposed over the next 12-18 months we wanted to launch a tool that is useful, not only for our own travel consultants, but for anyone who is booking a trip for themselves or their clients to know where they are allowed to travel and what restrictions are in place.”
