WHAT A SUCCESS! #BTTE23
Last week (6th & 7th June), the NI Travel News Team ran the largest B2B Travel Trade Networking event in Northern Ireland. The event took place in the Crowne Plaza Hotel, Belfast for the very first time and was a massive success for everyone involved.
Over the 2 days, suppliers from across the globe joined the NITN team for networking in various different formats to connect and engage with local travel agents and build business relationships.
The star of the show was The Trade Exhibition. Taking place both days, 54 suppliers spoke with over 300 travel agents from across NI. The trade exhibition gave the agents the chance to build their portfolio of contacts and discover new and exciting updates suppliers had to offer.
NEW for 2023, our Supplier Insight Sessions saw leading travel agents and Travel Suppliers discuss Sustainable Growth, touching on how to retain business and what government help is needed moving forward.
Agents enjoyed delicious hospitality in various formats during the event – Palladium Hotel Group hosted agents for a ‘Unexpected Breakfast’, where 3 hotels from the portfolio where being promoted. Travel Solutions took a quick trip to Spain, discussing their Spanish product to the local agents. Silversea Cruises provided a fabulous meal for the agents to enjoy while discovering what the luxury cruise line has to offer.
Each night came to a close with a party… Night 1 was enjoyed by all courtesy of the Spanish Tourism Office and Visit Salou. A Spanish inspired meal and wine kick started the evening, which was followed by a Night at the Races. Night 2 was dominated by Jet2holidays, the tour operator provided ‘A Evening for Everyone’ where several of their products took center stage at different parts of the night.
This year was the biggest and best Big Event to date and we aim to top it next year!
