£2,200 Raised for Macmillan Cancer Support

Leading cancer charity Macmillan Cancer Support received a cheque for £2,200 as a result of generous donations to the charity ballot at the Gala Dinner at The Big Travel Trade Event

Macmillan is one of the largest British charities and and provides specialist health care, information and financial support to people affected by cancer.

As well as helping with the medical needs of people affected by cancer, Macmillan also looks at the social, emotional and practical impact cancer can have, and campaigns constantly for better cancer care.

Macmillan Cancer Support says its goal is to reach and improve the lives of everyone living with cancer in the UK.

The prize of two Return Economy Tickets from Dublin to Dubai with Emirates went to Barbara Freeburn of Downe Travel.

Meanwhile Terry Murphy of Terra Travel received Two Return Tickets to any mainline British Airways’ Destination including Mexico, while Roy Ferguson of P&O won a Return Trip with Irish Ferries to Britain for a Car Plus Two Adults.

Stacey Hamilton of Feherty Travel won an Overnight Stay with Full Irish Breakfast at the Slieve Donard Resort and Spa while Delia Aston of Clubworld Travel won a Return Stena Line crossing from Belfast to Cairnryan with Car and Two Adults and Two Nights B&B at the 4* Village Hotel and Spa. Olivia McIntyre of STA Travel won a chance to try out the Ultimate Airport Experience, the Dublin Airport Platinum Services product.
