Wizz Air Set To Restart Flights from Luton This Week

Wizz Air is reportedly set to reopen its London Luton base this week and restart flights to a number of destinations

Wizz Air is reportedly set to reopen its London Luton base this week, resuming flights to a number of destinations, after additional hygiene measures were put in place to ensure the health and safety of customers and crew.

From May 1, flights from Luton to Budapest, Hungary; Cluj-Napoca, Constanta, Craiova, Iasi, Suceava, Targu Mures, Satu Mare and Timisoara, Romania; Belgrade, Serbia; Bratislava and Kosice, Slovakia; Lisbon, Portugal; Tenerife, Spain; Tel Aviv, Israel; will be resumed, subject to no further restrictions.
In line with government regulations, new measures are in place to support physical distancing during boarding and enhanced cleanliness on board.

Wizz Air UK Managing Director Owain Jones said: “As we restart selected Luton flights to provide an essential service to passengers who need to travel, our primary concern is the health, safety and well-being of our customers and crew.
