Head of Emergencies for the World Health Organisation, Dr Mike Ryan, has issued a stark warning that Europe have fallen behind the Covid-19 virus and that we are in need of acceleration in a bid to overcome the pandemic.
He warned that is people who are required to quarantine when it is necessary to do so, comply with the regulations, lockdowns could be avoided; Dr Ryan commented that “not everyone is doing that”
Dr Holohan commented on the issue: “There are too many stories of people with symptoms/waiting on tests and not self-isolating, also contacts not restricting movements,” as he urged compliance to restrictions that are put in place in a bid to “spread the message, not the virus.”
