In a not-so-faraway kingdom, Disneyland Paris will reopen the doors of its landmark hotel on 25th January 2024, inviting all guests to experience an immersive journey into Disney

In a not-so-faraway kingdom, Disneyland Paris will reopen the doors of its landmark hotel on 25th January 2024, inviting all guests – especially children – to experience an immersive journey into Disney royal stories coupled with unparalleled hospitality, fine dining venues and uniquely Disney entertainment.

Every centimetre of the interior of this legendary establishment is undergoing a complete “reimagination”, from the spectacular grand lobby to the luxuriant rooms and suites, to offer its future guests a new luxury concept interwoven with beloved royal Disney Characters both classic and new.

Disneyland Hotel is the first Disney Hotel to propose a five-star journey celebrating Disney royalty in all its expressions. From Cinderella to Frozen, The Sword in the Stone, and The Princess and the Frog to Moana, guests will be given the lead to become part of the story and create their own magical moments.

The hotel’s new refined design includes regal-themed lobby, restaurants, bar and lounges and will also offer its guests a unique entertainment program that touches heart and creates memories alongside beloved royal Disney Characters, or Mickey, Minnie and their friends in new exclusive regal attire and even an exclusive La Troupe Royale Disney.

From 8th January 2024*, life will be as colourful and joyful as in a movie at Disneyland Park! Over the first few weeks of the new year, Disneyland Paris will gradually introduce a series of exciting experiences that will add colour to cloudy winter days: Disney Symphony of Colours. This programme includes a new night-time drone sequence, a new daytime show and brand-new decorations!

Disney Symphony of Colours will kick off with a bang for guests, with Disney Electrical Sky Parade, giving them the chance to discover a night-time drone parade in the sky! This feat will be made possible through an exceptional new night-time show combining synchronised drones, video projections, lights and fountains across Sleeping Beauty Castle. The sky will be transformed into a palette of colours, thanks to the vibrant illuminations above the castle.

Up to 500 drones will parade across the night sky in the form of illuminated floats, symbolising the various icons of the Main Street Electrical Parade, including Mickey Mouse and his friends’ dazzling train, Elliott the adorable dragon and Cinderella’s carriage. The unforgettable electro-syntho-magnetic music, which has been remixed for the occasion, will once again set the tempo for this spectacular festival of night-time magic.

Starting 10th February 2024, guests will be able to enjoy a colourful, musical experience in a new, energy-packed daytime show celebrating the animated films from both Disney Animation and Pixar, with a host of characters: A Million Splashes of Colour.

This original creation, performed several times a day, will take guests on a journey through time to discover the stories of Disney Animation and Pixar – from timeless classics to the most recent hits. Dressed in colourful new outfits, Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Daisy and Goofy will be taking part in the festivities at Central Plaza, along with a host of iconic characters including Joy (Inside Out), Timon (The Lion King), Moana (Moana), Mirabel (Encanto) and the new Disney heroine, Asha (Wish).

Main Street, U.S.A., a must-see when visiting Disneyland Park, will feature new colourful decorations from 10th February 2024.

The land will be decked out in dazzling decorations with sprinkling of colour, a twinkling of light and some flowery touches that ‘wake up winter’ thanks to Pixie Dust sprinkled by Tinkerbell and her twin sister, Perriwinkle.

Guests can explore a beautifully landscaped walking trail with fun and surprises around each turn, as they engage with water in magical ways like Moana did with the ocean – from a simple greeting to a high five or even a crashing wave of fun. Journey of Water, Inspired by Moana opened on 16th October 2023 at EPCOT. This lush and tropical path is the first Disney Parks experience to immerse guests into a world inspired by the hit Walt Disney Animation Studios film, “Moana.”

In addition to experiencing this new attraction, guests have the opportunity to meet Moana in a new area of World Nature. Nestled across from Journey of Water, Inspired by Moana, this is the perfect place for fans to snap a few photos, share in a hug or even recount their important learnings about water conservation with the Wayfinder herself.

A new nighttime spectacular, “Luminous The Symphony of Us”, debuted at EPCOT yesterday (5th December 2023)!

Featuring dazzling fireworks, fountains, lights and music to connect us all through commonalities of the heart, this all-new show shines a light on how each of our unique melodies comes together to form a great symphony – the symphony of us.

Much like a beautiful piece of music, “Luminous The Symphony of Us” is made up of a series of movements, each representing life experiences that we have in common, showing us that we’re more alike than we are different. Punctuating these movements are two original songs written just for the spectacular, as well as new arrangements of carefully selected Disney songs we all know and love.

The all-new adventure which will bring guests into the world of Walt Disney Animation Studios’ film “The Princess and the Frog” like never before is coming to Magic Kingdom in Florida in 2024.

Tiana’s Bayou Adventure will take guests on a musical adventure inspired by the beloved story and characters from the fan-favourite film. Picking up where the film left off, guests will join Princess Tiana, Naveen and jazz-loving alligator Louis on an adventure through the bayou as they prepare to host a one-of-a-kind Mardi Gras celebration where everyone is welcome. Along the way, guests will encounter familiar faces, make new friends and travel through the bayou to original music inspired by songs from the film as they are brought into the next chapter of Tiana’s story.

Disney Cruise Line’s new ship, the Disney Treasure, will unlock the far-reaching realms of Disney, Pixar, Star Wars and Marvel and embrace dynamic tales from beloved Disney Parks attractions, through captivating and immersive experiences on the high seas.

The Disney Treasure, the sister ship to the Disney Wish that launched in 2022, will embark on its maiden voyage, a seven-night Eastern Caribbean cruise from Port Canaveral, Florida, on 21st December 2024, followed by an inaugural season of seven-night itineraries to the Eastern and Western Caribbean from Port Canaveral.

The Disney Treasure will harness a design concept that calls upon the bold and heartwarming stories of beloved Disney characters. Adventure will serve as the architectural and thematic foundation of the newest Disney Cruise Line ship, in honour of Walt Disney’s legendary passion for travel and exploration. On board, guests will find fan-favourite spaces from the Disney Wish, infused with this theme of adventure and inspired by memorable Disney stories like “Aladdin,” “Coco” and “Zootopia.”

New Culinary Adventures
In addition to the return of two beloved Disney Cruise Line restaurant concepts found on the Disney Wish, the Disney Treasure will introduce a brand-new family entertainment restaurant.

  • Plaza de Coco will be the world’s first theatrical dining experience themed to the Disney and Pixar film, “Coco.” The story of Miguel and his familia will continue where it left off on screen as they gather in Mariachi Plaza to take guests on two nights of colourful, music-filled journeys that celebrate family memories and togetherness with festive dinner menus of modern twists on traditional Mexican fare and a lineup of live entertainment.
  • Worlds of Marvel, Disney Cruise Line’s immersive Marvel-themed dining experience, celebrates favourite Avengers characters and stories, including an amazing interaction with Spider-Man. This high-tech venue aboard the Disney Treasure will offer a worldly menu and special entertainment, including two separate nights with distinct shows and dining, all inspired by the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
  • 1923, named for the founding year of Walt Disney Animation Studios, will celebrate the profound impact of Disney’s animation legacy and bring to life Walt Disney’s love of adventure through a nostalgic collection of exploration-themed artwork from both modern and classic animated films. Steeped in the glamour of Hollywood’s golden age, the venue’s upscale ambiance will complement a sophisticated menu inspired by the fusion of cultural flavours found throughout California and designed with families in mind.

In summer 2024, Disney Cruise Line will welcome guests to a one-of-a-kind island destination, Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point, located on the island of Eleuthera in The Bahamas, for the first time. Created in close collaboration with local artists and advisors, the vibrant island retreat will be a unique celebration of Bahamian culture brought to life with the quality and service of a Disney vacation.

Disney Cruise Line’s new destination on the island of Eleuthera will be a vibrant beach retreat infused with the colour and energy of Bahamian artistry.

In addition to the pristine beaches, families will enjoy a recreation centre, dining, shopping, a water playground, a cultural pavilion and more.

In early 2025, Disney Cruise Line will feature new and fan-favourite itineraries, bringing guests more options for fun in the sun from four home ports in the United States. From voyages that stop at one or both of Disney Cruise Line’s island destinations in The Bahamas, to the Disney Treasure’s inaugural season of seven-night voyages to the Eastern and Western Caribbean, to a tropical sailing to Hawaii or the South Pacific aboard the Disney Wonder, early 2025 will provide a myriad of adventures aboard Disney Cruise Line’s six ships.
