Wendy Wu Issues Update on Sri Lanka Holidays

Following the Sri Lanka bomb attacks last weekend, Wendy Wu Tours has confirmed that "all of its passengers in resort are safe and accounted for"

“Customers currently on holiday in Sri Lanka were given the option to curtail their holiday and return to the UK however all customers have decided to stay in Sri Lanka and finish their holiday as planned,” said a company spokesperson.

“Our customers safety is of the utmost priority. As a result of the change in FCO travel advice, which now advises against all but essential travel to Sri Lanka, we have made the decision to cancel all departures to Sri Lanka up to and including 30th June 2019.

“Our customers have three options:
• Transfer free of charge to another date in 2019 or 2020
• Transfer to another destination without an amendment fee and only pay the subsequent difference in tour or flight cost.
• Cancel their tour free of charge.

“In the interim we will continue to monitor the situation carefully with our extensive network of ground operators, tour leaders and contacts in Sri Lanka as well as working in strict accordance to current FCO travel advice.

“Passengers who wish to make alternative travel arrangements should contact their travel agent or Wendy Wu Tours on telephone 0800 630 0888.”
