Viking river Cruises is adding the purpose-built Viking Saigon to its summer Mekong River programme.
The new ship is currently under construction and is set to launch on August 30, 2021.
Once in service, Viking Saigon will sail itineraries between Kampong Cham, Cambodia and Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam as part of Viking’s ‘Magnificent Mekong’ cruise tours.
The 15-day itineraries take in the region’s iconic attractions such as the Khmer temple complex of Angkor Wat, Cambodian capital Phnom Penh and Mekong floating markets.
