Vietnam have announced that they are extending the visa-free entry period for some nationalities.
From 15 August 2023, UK passport holders will be able to enter and stay in Vietnam without a visa for up to 45 days.
UK Passport Holders seeking to stay in Vietnam longer than the 45 days will be able to apply for an e-visa through Vietnam’s online portal. This e-visa will grant travellers entry to Vietnam for 90 days.
The new extended e-visa will now be valid for multiple entries to Vietnam.
Prior to this announcement, holidaymakers could only remain in Vietnam visa-free for 15 days and e-visa holders could only remain in Vietnam for 30 days.
