FCO advise travellers to contact their travel provider for updates

Hurricane Dorian still continues to hit Grand Bahama Island this morning.  The National Oceanic & Atmospheric Administration US (NOAA) gave an update  this morning, stating that the storm will begin “a slow northwestward motion” early today.

The storm is expected to begin the slow moving shift and head towards the East coast of Florida later this evening and continue on its path through to Wednesday evening.

Travel continues to be disrupted with many flights delayed or cancelled, Fort Lauderdale Airport, Florida being the most impacted.

“If you’re due to travel to the affected areas in the next few days, you should contact your travel provider for the latest travel updates.” FCO travel advise.
