United Airlines Extends It’s Glasgow to Newark Service

The decision comes after increased demand in flying from Glasgow to New York

The decision comes after increased demand in flying from Glasgow to New York. The airline have extended the service that was  originally scheduled to finish on 23rd September,

Operating on the airline’s Boeing 737 MAX-8 aircraft, the service will launch on 9th May and will operate until the 24th October.

United Airlines Director of Sales UK and Ireland Karolien De Hertogh said: “We are pleased to see strong interest in our new upcoming service from Glasgow to New York/Newark and this significant expansion further underlines the importance of Scotland within United’s global route network.

“Our customers in Scotland will be able to benefit from even more time and travel options to visit New York City, as well as the possibility to connect seamlessly via our US hubs to over 140 onward destinations across the Americas. We look forward to welcoming our customers on board.”
