Grant Shapps has confirmed that as of 4am on Wednesday 15 December, all 11 countries on the UK red list will be scrapped.
Taking to twitter, he announced the news as Sajid Javid addressed the House of Commons on the changes.
Testing measures for international travel from and to the UK will remain.
“As always, we keep all our travel measures under review and we may impose new restrictions should there be a need to do so to protect public health.” Said Mr Shapps after the announcement.
