Over the duration of the 2025 Easter Bank Holidays, it is estimated that 11,282 flights are scheduled to depart UK airports – equating to over two million seats.
With 2,949 flights set to depart from UK Airports, Easter Friday is expected to be the busiest day for UK Departures.
When compared with 2024 figures, the number of flights departing in 2025 has risen 6%, demonstrating the continuous recovery of the travel industry.
Despite this growth, the statistics show that Easter travel is 4% down when compared with 2019 Easter Weekend (19-22nd April 2019), where a total of 11,743 flights departed from airports across the UK.
Dublin is reported to be the most popular destination for the Easter break, closely followed by Amsterdam, Malaga, Alicante, and Mallorca.
