As the Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games Milano Cortina 2026 approaches, Uber have announced a suite of winter mobility services designed to help people make their way across the region’s mountain clusters.

Spanning from Milan and Verona to Cortina and the wider alpine corridor, more than 1.5 million visitors are expected across the Olympic and Paralympic territories. Uber is set to scale operations to the games period and forecasts millions of trip requests, with peak-day demand expected to be up 200% as people travel between airports, stations, hotels, and venue arenas.

Allowing easier access to the the slopes, Uber is set to roll out Uber Ski, a ride option for people travelling with skis, snowboards, and winter equipment – making transport more available between hotels, lifts, and key hotspots across the mountain region.

Partnering with local mountain mobility specialists, Snowdreamers, the ride-hailing sponsor of the Games is set to launch a limited-edition winter ride service in Cortina d’Ampezzo, Uber Snowmobile.

Launching later this week, Uber Snowmobile will enable users to request a one-hour snowmobile ride via the Uber app on selected dates. Each ride includes a professional driver and safety equipment, each snowmobile seats two riders with bookings capped to eight passengers.

Speaking on the launch of the limited-edition Uber Snowmobile, Anabel Diaz, Vice President, EMEA Mobility at Uber, highlighted, “The Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games are about far more than what happens inside the venues. As Official Ride-Hailing Sponsor of Milano Cortina 2026, we’re focused on helping visitors move safely and efficiently — whether that’s getting to the slopes with Uber Ski, planning ahead with Uber Reserve, or accessing the wider alpine landscape through a limited mobility pilot delivered with licensed local operators. It’s about helping people make the most of being here in Cortina and the surrounding region.”
