Travel Unaffected by Loss of Confidence in Negotiations

A poll of more than 9,000 people released has revealed that more than two thirds (68 per cent) of people in the UK have lost complete confidence in the all-important Brexit negotiations; with only nine per cent feeling that the talks are being handled well by the British government

In fact, many have chosen to ignore the whole Brexit situation, with 95 per cent declaring that they will continue to travel to the EU as usual for their holiday.

The study conducted by market leading travel extras specialists, Holiday Extras, also reveals that one in five people have totally lost interest with the talks and more than a third (35 per cent) find the whole situation confusing. Seventeen per cent of those polled reckon that nothing has changed since the referendum.

Ant Clarke-Cowell at Holiday Extras said: “Brexit is bound to be crossing the minds of holidaymakers as they plan their holidays – and it seems that the state of the ongoing negotiations are confusing for many people… so much so that they have decided not to let politics get in the way of their enjoyment of the great British European getaway.”
