Local tour operator, Travel Solutions, has promised customers that, should their holiday be cancelled as a “direct result of Covid-19” they will process a refund for customers within 14 days.
Making the announcement, Managing Director Peter McMinn said: “Like all other travel companies, we struggled in the early days of this pandemic to meet refund deadlines.
“The fact was, that our IT systems were never built to handle thousands of refunds and each one had to be manually processed.
He continued: “We are now in a position were we can offer the level of service our customers have come to expect from us and with immediate effect, where a holiday is cancelled as a direct result of COVID-19, Travel Solutions will process refunds within a fourteen day period.
“This will give our customers the confidence in booking now for 2021 and allow them to take advantage of some great value holidays to a range of destinations that are available to book today.
“Our customers can book in confidence that went they book with Travel Solutions, their holiday and their money is in safe hands.”
