Following the change in FCO travel advice to Tunisia and reflecting customer demand, Thomas Cook resumed its operations to Tunisia for UK customers in February. The holiday company has since increased regional departures, with Thomas Cook Airlines operating a weekly flight from Belfast to Enfidha from May 1 until October 23 for summer 2019.
Tunisia is ideal for customers looking for culture, great weather and an affordable holiday. A flight time of three and a half hours means holidaymakers in Belfast can start enjoying the warm weather sooner, visit a local souk, or take in the ancient sites of Tunisia in the sprawling Sahara Desert.
Jackie Geddis, Manager at the Thomas Cook Discovery Store in Belfast Victoria Square, said: “We are excited to offer Belfast as a local departure for our customers looking to travel to Tunisia. We have had such a positive response from customers following the launch and Tunisia is once again proving to be a popular choice.”
This announcement is also joined by the £0 deposit buy now pay later announcement, giving customers the choice to book breaks for summer 2019 with no upfront payment, as well as helping them spread the cost with monthly direct debit payments. Customers choosing to travel to Tunisia with Thomas Cook next summer will be able to take advantage of this new service with holidays booked in advance*.
