French Authorities have indicated that since the introduction of covid-19 vaccination passes, the police force have found 182,000 certificates to be fake.
In July 2021, France began the scheme where individuals required a covid pass to enter premises such as restaurants, bars and a number of public transport, meaning those without vaccination could not avail of such facilities.
Speaking on the discovery, Interior Minister Gerald Darmanin is calling on the police to crack down on the production and selling of the fake covid certifications, with 400 current investigations underway; some of which include health care officials.
