Thai Prime Minister Prayut Chan-o-ch is reportedly seriously considering legalising gambling due to the economic damage caused by the coronavirus pandemic.
Thailand’s anti-gambling laws have long been criticised for being out-dated.
Talks on allowing legal gambling have been blocked and strongly opposed for decades but the Prime Minister said it is time to discuss the pros and cons of legal gambling again in Thailand.
