Thailand has introduced a new online arrival system which is set to apply to travellers from the 1st of May 2025.

The new online form, known as a Thailand Digital Arrival Card (TDAC) , is set to replace the paper arrival cards (TM6 forms) which are filled out on the plane prior to landing in Thailand.

The online system will go live on 28th of April, and first implemented for arrivals on the 1st of May 2025. The service is mandatory and free of charge.

The TDAC can be filled out prior to the day of travel and is set to introduce a ‘streamlined, paperless system,’ which is set to improve the efficiency of the arrival process in Thailand.

Once the form has been completed, travellers will receive a QR code which must be presented to border authorities in addition to a passport.
